Prof. ZHAI Shixian has been awarded the NSFC/RGC Joint Research Scheme (JRS) 2025/26

Prof. ZHAI Shixian has been awarded the NSFC/RGC Joint Research Scheme (JRS) 2025/26 with a grant of HK$1,172,155. Her project title is “Asian atmospheric bioavailable iron: sources, atmospheric processing, deposition, and implications for carbon uptake over the North Pacific Ocean”. This project aims to improve model simulation of atmospheric iron and ocean carbon uptake, thus serving for atmospheric chemistry and climate change sciences. This is a collaborative work between researchers in Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland. Congratulations to Prof. ZHAI Shixian!
